As a business owner or emerging leader, you must be willing to learn and apply the right skills that will inspire your team to show up and invest their full potential to accomplish the kind of work that makes them proud.
A business owner must lead with purpose, clarity, and integrity – and must always communicate with his or her employees to establish a direct and consistent connection. A business owner should be caring, kind, and considerate, but also honest and authentic for the betterment of the business and its underlying employees.
In coaching Business Owners, I work with leaders to help them define their business purpose, understand the foundational elements behind building highly functional teams, and inspire those teams to be engaged. Leadership Coaching
A successful leader knows when and how to embrace the uncomfortable, confront openly and honestly, motivate, engage, and communicate effectively to change employee behavior – and does so from a place of honesty, respect, and professionalism.
Likewise, a true leader wants to see his or her overall team perform at its best, while empowering the individual to reach his or her fullest potential. These two forces are inextricably linked.

We will build upon your own unique capabilities, and establish both short- and long-term goals to develop the vision that you need to thrive in your position.

COMPANY ORGANIZATIONAL DEVELOPMENT
Quite often, we need to make a change – and navigating that process can be tricky.
At True North, I specialize in diagnosing your company’s needs, goals, organizational gaps, and overall well-being. I work with your organization to improve performance at all levels through my custom organizational development programs, techniques, and methodologies.
The leadership team is critical to a company’s development, and a company’s well-being lies in the ability of its leaders to effect change. As leaders, we need to solicit feedback from our stakeholders and constituents. We need find out how people are feeling and why, address their fears, and determine what motivates them to accept change.
In this capacity, I work primarily with leaders to coach them through the stages of the organizational development process. Then, we engage the team for an integrative approach toward strengthening the health of the company.
GROUP COACHING
One of the key components of leadership is knowing your team. Does your team understand your company’s core values? Do they have the resources and support they need to accomplish their tasks? Do they feel appreciated?
If your employees feel overworked, undervalued, and disconnected from their leader, this will inhibit growth and progress for both the individual and the organization as a whole. A leader must level-set with employees, recognize their needs, and capitalize on the distinct abilities that each person offers.
My approach to Team Coaching is to help you connect with your employees; identify their behaviors and accept their individual personalities; and understand how they come together to operate in the team construct.
In Group Coaching, I will work with your organization to build effective relationships between leader and team. This will instill the confidence your team needs to think outside the box, seize new opportunities, tackle relevant issues, and produce positive work outcomes.
